We now officially own a house. Or at least, have agreed to. We have 10 and a half weeks before we’ll own it for real, but it’s all over except for paying for it! And now on to something that’s even more fun than house hunting,...

So we finally did it today.  We saw a house, put in an offer, and — after some negotiation — have conditonaly bought a house.  This just happens to come on the same day that a “SOLD” sign appeared on our own front lawn.  We paid more than we really wanted to, and more than the house was worth, but the market is going up.  It’s a bit of a seller’s market...

It’s official!  Aidan Michael Bruce Lockhart made the transition from a warm comfy place to a cold hospital room at 7:28 AM today where he was greeted with smiles and tears of joy from doctors, nurses and family.  The little bambino tipped the scales at 6 lbs. 11 oz. and measured a full 19 inches long. I’m really not good at waiting patiently.  I know this, but it gets painfully obvious while sitting around in the hospital waiting for a doctor, a contraction, or an answer.  More often than not, I find myself wanting to pace around or just do something — but I can’t do anything.
