Pacing the halls

Pacing the halls

Apr 17

I’m really not good at waiting patiently.  I know this, but it gets painfully obvious while sitting around in the hospital waiting for a doctor, a contraction, or an answer.  More often than not, I find myself wanting to pace around or just do something — but I can’t do anything.

We did get several opportunities to wander the halls today.  I sure wish I had a pedometer.  Probably walked a few kilometers today!  Now if only the hospital had halls with better scenery.  But I guess I should be happy that we have hospitals with indoor plumbing and halls to wander in and knowledgable doctors to help us out.

Well, it’s back to the hospital for us.  Who knows whether we’ll have to stay and have a baby, or be sent home again.  Back to pacing the halls!
