Jen’s first post
Apr 12Well, here I am trying to figure out what to write now that we have a blog. First off maybe I should start by telling you about myself. Things in my life from the time I was born to about maybe the last year and a half have been pretty normal. On August 6th,2005 I married Nathaniel Lockhart. So far I have to say married life is wonderful. We met at our church quite a few years ago called The Life Centre. When we met I don’t think we thought anything of it. But God had other plans : – ) He drove me home on several occations when the church had youth functions and what not. Again I didn’t think anything of it. It wasn’t until I have been at the church for about 7 years that God put Nat on my heart. I had no idea what that was about. Then my cousin Andrea asked me out of the blue what I thought about him. I was of coarse very alouf and said I didn’t really know him that well.
So my cousin and some friends of ours have been getting together every Thursday night just to hang out and invited me along. Nat of coarse was there too. It was there that we got to know each other and also the drive there and back was good too: -) So we did eventually started dating and not long after that we got engaged January 28th,2005 to be exact. It was very sweet not expecting it at all. Just like Nat really. So as I started we were married in August. The wedding was wonderful.
It’s sometimes still hard for me to believe it actually happened to me. God is good and he has seen me though some panicky moment but I trust God with all my heart. Its a good thing too because now just over a year and a half later I am ready to give bith to a little baby boy. At least he better be a boy at this point. He has more clothes then I do. We can’t wait. He is taking his time but I know God has his appointed time with him. I thank God for all those who are praying for us and thinking of us as we go through yet another big adventure in our lives.
Well thats enough babbling for me. This is what I could think of to write for now. We will keep you posted on our new bundle of joy and we shall have pictures as well.
